Pat Janssen, Self-employed Ag Producer

Janssen lives south of Kinsley, Kansas, on farms irrigated and dry land acres producing wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, and specialty hay crops. His livestock operations include cow-calf and stocker cattle. Janssen started working to improve irrigation efficiency on our farm in 2012 through the Conservation Stewardship Program. He has also participated in several projects to help establish a “toolbox” of practices that are cost-efficient, and simple to implement.
