Brad Haynes

Brad Haynes, Haynes Farms/FHSU Athletics

Raised on a dryland farm and ranch in northeastern Colorado, Haynes returned to the no-till farm in 2013 while working as associate athletic director at Fort Hays State University. Since the death of his dad in 2014, he has continued in both roles and operates the farm with his mom. He has rented additional ground of his own and incorporates various soil health activities, crop rotations, cover crops and precision practices in his management plan.
